- HAPPY CASA SUMMER FESTIVAL – MARTINA FRANCA | JUNE 30th – JULY 14th
Three musical events in the heart of the historic center of Martina Franca, in Piazza D’Angio: The Kolors (June 30th), Fausto Leali (July 6th) and Giusy Ferreri (July 14th).
- COSTA DEI TRULLI FESTIVAL – FASANO, ALBEROBELLO AND MONOPOLI | 17th JUNE-31st AUGUST
Music, but also culture, art, reading, the Costa dei Trulli Festival offers a wide choice of cultural proposals: the program of events is extremely rich, passing from “light” quality music to more refined or niche offers, for example lirica and tango music. The Festival takes place in the squares of different towns: from Fasano to Alberobello passing through Monopoli. Le Vibrazioni, Amanda Sandrelli, Diodato, Gaetano Partipilo, Luca Carboni, Ex-Otago, Tiromancino, Gazzelle, Max Gazze are some of the names that will be involved in this second and effervescent edition of the Festival.
- FESTIVAL OF THE VALLE D’ITRIA – MARTINA FRANCA | 16th JULY – 4th AUGUST
World famous festival, now in its 45th edition, puts on stage the most important operas. For the 2019 edition there is the masterpiece by Domenico Cimarosa Il matrimonio segreto (The secret marriage) and la pi u rara Ecuba (the rarest Ecuba) by Nicola Antonio Manfroce. New this year is the Opera in Itinerante Masseria, which precisely involves the execution of works in five masserias in the area: Del Duca di Crispiano (21 July), Belvedere di Mottola (23 July), Palesi (25 July) and San Michele (1 August) in Martina Franca, Casina Vitale of Ceglie Messapica (27 July).
- GHIRONDA SUMMER FESTIVAL – OSTUNI | 19th – 21st JULY
Review of art and popular culture of the 5 continents, the Ghironda, combines street artistic performances with the enhancement of historic villages, bringing in the squares the best Italian street artists and not only. From 19 to 21 July the squares, alleys and lesser-known glimpses will become stages for the performance of internationally renowned artists.
The Locus festival has always stood out on the Italian scene with a perfect balance between quality and popularity of the submissions, positioning itself among the most ahead of time music festivals in Italy. The 2019 edition will feature the likes of Ms. Lauryn Hill, Calcutta, French Kiwi Juice, Four Tet and Ben Ufo. But for some years the Locus is not just music, this summer in addition to musical talks there will be a film festival on the great myths of music, an exhibition of illustrators dedicated to the XV years of Locus, and many other musical and cultural initiatives.
- VIVA! FESTIVAL – LOCOROTONDO | 1st – 4th AUGUST
The VIVA! Festival is an electronic music festival organized by the same team behind the famous Club to Club Torino festival and its lineup presents a similar caliber of intriguing and ahead of time artists from the world of disco, soul, hip-hop, techno music , electronic and experimental. This year’s names include DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown AKA Erykah Badu, Jon Hopkins, Gilles Peterson & MC General Rubbish and Napoli Segreta.
- PIANO LAB – MARTINA FRANCA | 10th and 11th AUGUST
A popular festival featuring the king of instruments: the piano. On 10th and 11th August it introduces the «Suona con noi» (play with us) initiative, where anyone, professional or amateur, can book their performance on the site, without any distinction of music or age, and thus play in front of a real audience during the highlight of the event.
- FARM FESTIVAL – CASTELLANA GROTTE | 12th and 13th AUGUST
Among the enchanted trulli of Masseria Papaperta, the Farm Festival, puts the spotlight on the different forms of art, ranging from music, to dance, moving through painting, cinema and photography. In the 2019 edition, Fast Animals and Slow Kids and Nada Malanima will perform on stage.
- GENERA FESTIVAL – CISTERNINO | 23rd – 25th AUGUST
The Genera Festival started last year and arrives at the end of August to close the summer in style. Continuing the path that inspired the 2018 edition, this year also the festival focuses on the “dimension of being human” with the theme “People Mean the World” mixing music and art with a research path that leaves space especially to young emerging artists
